This year, Renton River Days is July 21-23, 2017. The city website is www.rentonriverdays.org
Overview
Renton River Days are a collection of events in the heart of Renton and Liberty Park, across the street from Village Square Plaza. The events include food booths, music, vending, and a parade through the city events along the river. Thousands of individual residents, visitors, and businesses participate in a variety of activities, many of which create a crowded gathering at Liberty Park. In an effort to help control traffic and parking, our plaza contracts with parking vendors to track customers of our plaza and reserve parking.
In conjunction with the City of Renton for this weekend, Village Square plaza also offers paid parking, the proceeds of which offset annual maintenance charges for our tenants.
Tenant Impact
Parking Permits
Business Tenants who have customers and employees who park for an extended period of time must display a parking pass on the dashboard of the car. Otherwise, our parking vendor is authorized to ticket and tow the vehicle. Tenants may request permits using the form at the bottom of the page.
Request for Vehicle Removal
Additionally, if tenants see visitors (who are not customers) abandon their cars in our lot, please report them to the vendor, who will proceed to mark (and may tow) the car.
